BODEGAS NAVAJAS
This family winery was founded in 1918 and taken over by the Navajas family in1983. They invested in enlarging their storage facilities and in a new barrel-aging area which has resulted in modern facilities equipped with state-of-the-art technology for the treatment and care of their wines.
Navaja’s family believe that the quality of the wine begins in the vineyards and for this reason they monitor and control the vineyards which belongs to their growers in Rioja Alta and Baja.
BODEGAS NAVAJAS WINES:
TINTO JOVEN (Red) - A lively rosehip scented style. Bright juicy and flavoursome red with a short period of oak ageing giving hints of vanilla.
BLANCO JOVEN (White) – A young, lively, fresh wine, straw-yellow, reflecting the variety from which is made. Smooth and pleasant on the palate, well balanced, leaves an agreeable and alive sensation that takes us back to its primary fruit aroma.
ROSADO JOVEN (Rose)- A pale pinkish salmon colour. Soft aroma of ripe fruit and flowers, which, together with its light yet broad taste, leaves a fresh but warm sensation on the palate throughout its "journey" through the mouth. Pairs well with fish, vegetables and pasta.

TWINKLETRUST ANIMAL AID
Animal Aid is a small registered charity that is U.K. based. They are dedicated to helping feral or neglected cats in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands. All work is voluntary. Their aim is to try to relieve the suffering of and ensure the well being of stray cats, specifically through the sterilisation of such animals.
The charity survives purely on donations from the public and corporate sponsorship. Barcelona Tapas is proud to be among those companies offering sponsorship. Any donations from our customers will be gratefully received by the charity.
